yukata

Yukata
Yukata is a Japanese summer wearing. Wearing yukata is a common at fireworks displays, bon-odori festivals, and other summer events. Yukata is a casual wear of kimono, which is also Japanese traditional wearing. People used to wear yukata after bathing bath, but people do not wear yukata anymore. However, you wear when you go to ryokan.

What to buy?
I think many foreigners do not know what to buy wearing yukata. This is the least things you have to buy.

FASHION
These days, there are many modern yukata. Young girls tend to like rose pink and lace stuff. Yukata is now not only for classical wearing, but also it is mixed with modern culture. We can say this to kimono.

SCHOOL COMPARISON :)

n MY speech n
[NZ]
School stars February in NZ. There is no entrance ceremony for elementary school. There are 4 terms in a year in NZ and 20 days weekends between each term. Summer vacation starts the mid of December to February. The class stars 9 and finish around 3. Compulsory education is at the age of 6 to 16 in NZ. Students have secondary education at the age of 13. After school life for 3 years, students usually take a test called school certificate. Students who want to go to college take test for scholarship. The required subjects are English and PE. Students can choose 5 to 6 subjects. There are French, German, Japanese and Maori for language studying. There are also unique classes like acting class and information technology. They have snack time in the morning; they can eat snacks, cookies and potato chips.
You can get more information from here ,too.

[Japan]

School starts from April in Japan. We have entrance ceremony. We are 2 terms in a year; it used to 3. Summer vacation starts around the mid of July to September. The class starts around 9. It is different when they finish school depends of their grade. After students graduate from high school; students go to university, college, or get a job. We have 8 to 9 subjects in junior high school. We don’t have language classes except Japanese and English. We do not usually choose subjects; only one or two. We do not have snacks time in Japan. However, we have KYUSHOKU ;it is different from lunch box.
After school or weekends, students enjoy playing rug bee, cricket, and basket ball. They go to movie and shopping with friends. Also, some students have part time job at fast food restaurants or super markets. Other things they do are learning ballet and hose riding. The popular music among young is rock, heavy metal, and classic.

How Students in NZ spend after school and weekends are similar to students in Japan

presentation speech!!

People’s dress up and decorations in the day of the death.

It might be scary when you hear the Day of the Death; however, it is one of the traditional festivals in Mexico. It lasts OCT 31 to NOV 2nd. They remember and pray the death people like OBON in Japan. They also cerebrate Halloween on this term.
I am going to tell about fashion and decorations.
They have customs to dress up like Halloween.
They wear many characters, however according to my research; dressing up in women’s clothes is the most popular.
Please look at the left picture first. Can you guess what they are?
They are offering of sweets. In Japan, we do not make offering these kinds of glittering stuffs.
The picture of right side, the superman is there, but he is skull.
As you can see, in this tern, they dress up like Halloween and they decorate skull in house in parks, side of roads, in shops, everywhere.
They pray for death people, however, they also enjoy this festival very much.
