School starts from April in Japan. We have entrance ceremony. We are 2 terms in a year; it used to 3. Summer vacation starts around the mid of July to September. The class starts around 9. It is different when they finish school depends of their grade. After students graduate from high school; students go to university, college, or get a job. We have 8 to 9 subjects in junior high school. We don’t have language classes except Japanese and English. We do not usually choose subjects; only one or two. We do not have snacks time in Japan. However, we have KYUSHOKU ;it is different from lunch box.
After school or weekends, students enjoy playing rug bee, cricket, and basket ball. They go to movie and shopping with friends. Also, some students have part time job at fast food restaurants or super markets. Other things they do are learning ballet and hose riding. The popular music among young is rock, heavy metal, and classic.
How Students in NZ spend after school and weekends are similar to students in Japan.
